CNN recently reported on the 'Speed Sisters': young Palestinian women racing cars in Ramallah, Palestine. While I'm happy for the Sisters, I can't help but feel the irony of the situation: the British first give Palestinians the gift of Israel, now they give them a trainer to coach their girls' racing team. They certainly have come a long, long way.
